Oh boy, it’s a whirl wind of hope and fear and strength and weakness all wrapped up in one. I have the songs but they are fleeting sounds if I don’t record them. It’s confounding, all the equipment it takes and all the engineer smarts it takes and all the time it takes and all the computer wisdom it takes. I have the songs and I will make the time but time is even something one must guard with arms of resistance.

Pictured below are Elsa Wintersteen, Matthew Wintersteen,Carin Christensen, Brian Richards, inside and out side of my shop. On the wall, in the self portrait is Karl Blau, and old friend from college who inspires me with his commitment to creating, recording, performing and resisting. He owns his artistic lifestyle and lets his gifts guide his steps in a very distracting, demanding and world. http://www.karlblau.com

It’s been extreemly gratifying to have people in the studio to participate in recording the songs. The lyrics in “Door to Door’ were acted out in real time as they sang what I wrote, “beyond the choir, beyond my circle of friends, where the light is shining.” Go to original music section of this website to hear my first draft (which does not have my Cirlce of Friends in it yet… baby steps.)Thank you Everett Bennet for helping me with this website! Rainydayva.com Thank you Matthew Wintersteen for Lead Wizarding, thank you 10th Planet Recording in Fairbanks. Pat and Robin are my tether to manifesting this island dream.
